The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has pledged its full support to Neurospark FC as the club embarks on its maiden campaign in the Nigeria National League (NNL), expressing confidence in its ability to earn promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The newly promoted side paid a courtesy visit to the FCT FA leadership following its successful outing at the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) playoffs in Lafia.
The delegation was received on behalf of the Association’s Chairman, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed, by the FCT FA Secretary, Coach Usman Ilerika.
Congratulating the club, Ilerika described the promotion as a proud achievement for football in the Federal Capital Territory.
“On behalf of the Chairman and members of the FCT Football Association Board, I congratulate Neurospark FC on this remarkable achievement. You have made the FCT proud by earning promotion from the NLO, and we are confident you can continue this impressive journey,” he said.
He urged the club to prepare adequately for the demands of the Nigeria National League, describing it as one of the country’s most competitive football competitions.
“The NNL is one of the toughest leagues in Nigeria. Success will require thorough preparation, discipline, commitment and unity of purpose.
The management and players must work together and remain focused because you are now representing not only your club but the entire Federal Capital Territory,” Ilerika said.
Reaffirming the Association’s commitment to the club’s development, he pledged continued support as Neurospark FC pursues promotion to the NPFL.
“The FCT FA will continue to provide a level playing field and support your aspirations. We encourage you to remain disciplined and dedicated as you strive for promotion to the NPFL,” he stated.
Ilerika also commended the club’s management and players for bringing honour to the FCT and wished them greater success in the forthcoming season.
Neurospark FC secured promotion after an impressive performance at the NLO playoffs in Lafia, winning two of their three matches to claim the North Central ticket to the Nigeria National League.
