Shakira teases the 2026 World Cup official song “Dai Dai” featuring Burna Boy at Brazil’s Maracanã Stadium while holding the tournament’s official match ball.
Colombian pop star Isabel Mebarak Ripoll Shakira, has teased the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, releasing a 67-second video clip filmed at Brazil’s iconic Maracanã Stadium.
She announced the track titled “Dai Dai” on her social media pages and confirmed that Nigerian Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy co-produced and features on the song, which will officially release on May 14.

Shakira filmed the teaser on the pitch of the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, shortly after she performed a free concert at Copacabana Beach in front of an estimated two million fans.
She also held the “Trionda,” the official match ball for the 2026 World Cup, as she performed excerpts of the song alongside dancers dressed in the colours of participating national teams, including the United States and Colombia.

The video, which FIFA’s official World Cup account also shared, ends with the message: “We’re ready!”
Shakira continues to extend her long-standing relationship with the FIFA World Cup, as she previously performed at the 2006 and 2014 tournaments and produced the global hit “Waka Waka” for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
She now returns to the World Cup stage with “Dai Dai,” reinforcing her legacy as one of the most recognisable voices in global football entertainment.
