Kaduna State University etched their name into the history books as the inaugural champions of the NBSL Youth Tournament after securing a convincing 3-1 victory over Mustard Seed FA in a thrilling final held in Kaduna.
The university side delivered a composed and clinical performance to overcome their opponents, capping off an outstanding campaign and becoming the first-ever winners of the newly introduced youth competition.
The NBSL Youth Tournament, staged alongside the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Round Two events, provided a platform for emerging talents to showcase their skills and compete at a high level.
In the third-place playoff, Young Brazil FA claimed the bronze medal after a dramatic encounter against El-Cruzero FA. Both sides played out an entertaining 3-3 draw in regulation time before Young Brazil held their nerve to win 4-3 in the ensuing penalty shootout.

The successful maiden edition of the tournament highlighted the growing commitment to youth football development, with participating teams displaying impressive talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
