Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator, Carter Efe, has been permanently banned from TikTok over repeated violations of the platform’s community guidelines.
TikTok announced the ban on Wednesday, effectively cutting off the comedian from the platform where he built a large following through comedy skits, music promotion and livestreams.
The platform informed Carter Efe that his account had been permanently banned following multiple violations of its policies.
Carter Efe rose to prominence through comedy content on TikTok before expanding his activities into livestreaming and music.
The ban means he can no longer access or use the affected account unless TikTok overturns the decision through its applicable appeal process.
