BBNaija housemates during one of the show’s live seasons.
Big Brother Naija has disqualified eight housemates across 11 seasons for offences ranging from violence and aggression to sexual misconduct and repeated breaches of house rules.
The latest is Nomy, who was removed from the Season 11 house after Big Brother cited her repeated disobedience.
Nomy’s disqualification followed her refusal to wear a “benchwarmer” outfit assigned to her as punishment for finishing last in the Head of House challenge.
Her removal has again brought attention to Big Brother Naija’s strict enforcement of its rules, with previous seasons also seeing housemates sent home over serious misconduct.
Here is the full list of BBNaija housemates who have been disqualified:
Nomy — Season 11, 2026
Big Brother disqualified Nomy after she refused to comply with the punishment imposed on her following the Head of House challenge.
Faith — Season 10, 2025
Faith was disqualified after a physical altercation with Sultana during a skincare task rehearsal. The incident left Sultana with a twisted ankle.
Beauty Tukura — Season 7, 2022
Beauty was sent home after an argument escalated into aggressive behaviour. She threw her wig and glasses at another housemate.
Erica — Season 5, 2020
Erica was disqualified following multiple rule violations, including abusive language and repeated disrespect for house rules despite several warnings.
Tacha — Season 4, 2019
Tacha was removed from the house following a physical altercation with Mercy Eke involving pushing and hair-pulling.
Khloe and K-Brule — Season 3, 2018
Khloe and K-Brule were disqualified after accumulating three strikes. Their offences included aggressive behaviour and physical confrontations.
Kemen — Season 2, 2017
Kemen was removed from the show over sexually inappropriate touching of fellow housemate TBoss while she was asleep.
The series of disqualifications highlights Big Brother Naija’s zero-tolerance approach to violence, sexual misconduct, aggression and repeated disobedience.
With 13 housemates currently facing possible eviction this week, Nomy’s removal serves as another reminder that conduct inside the BBNaija house can have consequences regardless of a contestant’s popularity.
