Toyin Abraham faces online criticism over an alleged leaked audio recording involving comments about fellow Nollywood actresses.
Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has faced criticism on social media following the circulation of an alleged leaked audio recording in which she reportedly laughed at disparaging remarks about fellow actresses Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo.
The 12-minute recording, released by blogger Mama Esabod, features a conversation between Abraham and a TikTok fan identified as Bisgold.
According to report, the fan was heard making negative comments about Akindele, while Abraham allegedly listened and laughed without cautioning her.
The conversation also touched on Iyabo Ojo, with the fan reportedly claiming that the actress had not moved on from an earlier incident. Abraham allegedly laughed and agreed with the remark.
The recording has triggered online reactions, with some users questioning Abraham’s response and her boundaries in conversations with fans.
A social media user, WhoKnowsyezt, criticised the actress for appearing too comfortable with the fan, while Fifi Efretuei accused her of failing to learn the importance of setting boundaries. Another user, Prince Ademola Salami, also criticised Abraham and expressed support for Akindele.
The recording reportedly included discussions about actors Itele and Kemity. Abraham allegedly claimed that some people who profess support for her use fake accounts to attack others, while describing Kemity as someone she considers a daughter.
The controversy has continued to generate reactions online over the alleged conversation involving the three actresses.
