A Florida woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly opening fire at the Los Angeles home of global superstar Rihanna on Sunday.
Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, also faces 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, two counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, and one count of shooting at an inhabited vehicle, prosecutors said.
She was ordered held on $1.875 million bail and barred from contacting Rihanna, who lives at the estate with rapper A$AP Rocky and their three children.

Aerial footage of the property after the incident showed bullet holes in the gate. Ortiz, who has a history of involuntary psychiatric commitment and previously lost custody of her 10-year-old child, reportedly targeted several celebrities in posts on a Facebook page that appears to belong to her, including Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Cardi B.
In one post, Ortiz directly tagged Rihanna, writing:
“Say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I’m not at.”
In another video, she claimed that Rihanna wanted to kill her.
Ortiz is scheduled to appear in court again on March 25. Authorities continue to investigate the motive behind the attack.
