Imo State Government has given residents 14 days to remove buildings illegally erected under a reserved 333KVA national grid line in Owerri North Local Government Area.
The notice, shared on Facebook by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Creative and Electronic Media, Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, was co-signed by Chinasa Nwaneri of the Office of the Governor on Monitoring and Compliance, and Franklin Newodo, General Manager of the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA).
The directive targets structures along the transmission corridor from Alaoji Transmission Station to Egbu Transmission Station, including areas in Ishiuzo Egbu, Umuawaka, and Awaka.
