FCT Minister Nyesom Wike during a media briefing in Abuja where he addressed concerns over roaming cattle and ongoing infrastructure projects.
Wike also highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects across the territory, saying development efforts were not limited to the city centre but extended to Area Councils and satellite communities.
According to him, projects currently being executed cover key sectors including road construction, water supply and housing for public officials.
He further disclosed that the FCT Administration would begin a thirty-one-day project inauguration programme from June eighth, twenty twenty-six, in collaboration with President Bola Tinubu, to mark the administration’s third anniversary.
The minister maintained that road projects executed across the FCT had improved access and strengthened security in several communities.
Roaming cattle on Abuja roads has remained a recurring concern for residents and motorists, with repeated complaints over safety risks and obstruction of traffic.

Wike also stated that residents of the Federal Capital Territory could already feel the impact of ongoing projects and policies under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
