INEC announces PVC collection dates and centres for FCT Area Council elections.
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the full list of centres for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) ahead of the February 21 Area Council elections.
INEC said PVC collection will run from Thursday, January 22 to Monday, January 26, 2026, between 9am and 3pm daily, at Registration Area (Ward) centres in the six Area Councils.
The commission added that voters who are unable to collect their PVCs during the ward-level exercise can do so afterward at INEC Area Council offices.
In a statement posted on its official X handle, INEC said the exercise is aimed at bringing PVC collection closer to residents to boost participation in the polls.
