The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the release of call-up numbers for the 2025 Batch C prospective corps members, officially kicking off preparations for the next orientation exercise.
The announcement was made via the scheme’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday, stating that the call-up numbers have been released “based on registration order.”
However, the NYSC also disclosed that only about 40 percent of registered participants will be deployed for the upcoming orientation programme due to camp capacity limitations across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“The NYSC management is pleased to announce that call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members have been released, based on registration order,” the post read.
“However, due to camp capacity limitations nationwide, only about 40 percent of registered Prospective Corps Members can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme.”
For those unable to make the current batch, the NYSC assured that no one will be left out, as they will be automatically deferred to the next batch.
“Rest assured, those not accommodated will be automatically moved to the next Batch, which will take place soon after the Batch C exercise,” the statement added.

The management further reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and hitch-free orientation process and service year for all participants.
“Management remains committed to ensuring a hitch-free orientation exercise and service year experience for our PCMs,” the agency stated.
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) opened its online registration portal for 2025 Batch C prospective corps members on November 4, with registration expected to close on November 9 for both foreign-trained and locally-trained graduates.
According to the mobilisation timetable released by the scheme, pre-camp physical verification for foreign-trained graduates will take place from November 9 to 13, while ICT-related activities are scheduled between November 12 and 15.
The NYSC also announced that corps-producing institutions will assist with the online printing and physical distribution of deployment and call-up letters between November 16 and 18 — the same period when prospective corps members (PCMs) are expected to print their call-up letters.
