The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, across all orientation camps in Nigeria.
According to the scheme, camp registration for prospective corps members will take place from November 19 to midnight of November 21, while the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 21. The closing ceremony will follow on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

The announcement was contained in a statement released on Wednesday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
“The swearing-in ceremony holds on Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025,” Embu stated.
She added that the Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all prospective corps members safe travels to their respective orientation camps and cautioned against night journeys.
“He advised all prospective corps members to avoid night travel to ensure their safety,” the statement added.
Earlier on Tuesday, the NYSC had announced the release of call-up numbers for the 2025 Batch C corps members, confirming the update on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
However, the scheme clarified that limited camp capacity across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory means that only about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members would be accommodated in the upcoming orientation exercise.
Those unable to secure slots in Batch C will be automatically deferred to the next mobilisation round, the NYSC assured.
