NYSC says some 2026 Batch A corps members posted to Lagos and the FCT will attend orientation camps in neighbouring states due to capacity limits.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a 48-hour extension of its 2025 Batch ‘C’ online registration to accommodate prospective corps members facing network-related difficulties during the ongoing mobilisation process.
The development was confirmed in a statement released on Friday by the Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, who explained that the decision followed reports of technical hitches slowing down the registration portal.
“The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has noted the difficulties being faced by some Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) in the ongoing registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation,” Embu said. “The longer than usual time it is taking some PCMs to complete the registration is as a result of network issues.”

She said the management deeply regrets the inconvenience the disruption has caused applicants and assured that efforts are ongoing to stabilise the system.
“While management regrets the inconvenience this might have caused our valued PCMs, we wish to assure all that we are working round the clock to resolve the issues and ensure they enjoy seamless registration,” the statement read.
With the extension, the registration portal will now remain open until midnight of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, giving applicants an additional window to complete their registration process.
“In view of this regrettable development, management has extended the registration period by 48 hours till midnight of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to enable our enthusiastic PCMs conclude their registration,” Embu added.
The NYSC also appealed to applicants to remain patient and avoid panic as the technical team continues efforts to restore full portal functionality.
“We urge all prospective corps members to remain calm. Our technical team is working tirelessly to ensure that everyone who started the registration process successfully completes it,” the statement concluded.
