
Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) clears 16 candidates for the 2025 board elections while disqualifying three for late submissions ahead of the AGM.
The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) Electoral Committee has cleared 16 candidates to contest in the upcoming 2025 NCF Board elections, while disqualifying three aspirants for missing the submission deadline.
The screening process was carried out in accordance with the Federation’s electoral guidelines ahead of the Annual General Meeting (AGM), where elections for various board positions will take place.
Elections for Players’ and Technical Representatives are set for September 19, 2025, while polls for Zonal Representatives, President, and Vice President will hold on September 20, 2025.

The cleared candidates include:
Uyiosa Akpata, Olawale Obalola, Mariam Suleiman, Usman Ladan, Oludare Aimola, Olufemi John, Chika Okoro, Tayo Atoloye, Musa Sule Jarmai, Usman Danjuma, Zainab Ishiaku, Usman Musa Yali, Olumide Akintokun, Endurance Ofem, Chuma Anosike, and Monica Wuballa.
The three disqualified aspirants , Emeka Onyeama, Pakribo Telema Darego, and Chimezie Onwuzilike, submitted their forms after the midnight deadline of September 10, 2025.
All cleared candidates are required to submit written manifestos detailing their vision, objectives, and strategic plans for developing Nigerian cricket over the next four years, in compliance with the Federation’s electoral regulations.
The Electoral Committee reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a fair, transparent, and credible electoral process, emphasizing integrity in the upcoming elections.
