President Bola Tinubu has appointed Brigadier-General Kunle Nafiu as the new Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Before his appointment, Brigadier-General Nafiu served as Chief of Staff to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Olufemi Oluyede, and previously held the same position under the late Lieutenant-General Raised Abiodun Lagbaja.
An artillery officer and a member of the 47 Regular Course, Nafiu is a graduate of both the US Army War College and the Armed Forces Command and Staff College.
He hails from Ileogbo in Aiyedire Local Government Area of Osun State and replaces Brigadier-General Yushau Ahmed, with his appointment taking immediate effect.
