President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has vowed to work harder for Nigeria’s progress, assuring that the economy is on a recovery path.
Speaking at the APC National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja, he welcomed the vote of confidence in his administration, calling it a challenge to do more. Tinubu emphasized his focus on food security, investment, and national development, noting that food prices are stabilizing as Ramadan approaches.
He commended APC governors, National Assembly members, and party executives for their support, urging unity to resolve internal disputes.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and House Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting policies that drive economic growth and national development.
The meeting followed an APC caucus session where party leaders praised Tinubu’s administration for boosting GDP to 3.84% in late 2024 and curbing inflation.
