Former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, says President Bola Tinubu’s administration is making stronger efforts to tackle insecurity in Northwest Nigeria.
Former Zamfara State Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Abdulaziz Yari, has urged Nigerians to sustain support for President Bola Tinubu, citing what he described as stronger efforts to tackle insecurity in Northwest Nigeria.
Speaking during the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election at his polling unit in Talata-Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Yari said the Tinubu administration is showing greater commitment to addressing insurgency and banditry troubling the region.
The senator said his experience working with previous administrations gave him a clear basis for comparison, stressing that the current government is demonstrating stronger political will in confronting security challenges.
Yari noted that improved security remains critical to restoring economic activities, protecting rural communities, and rebuilding public confidence across the Northwest.
He called on APC members and Nigerians to continue supporting the government’s policies and security interventions, while urging citizens to pray for peace, national stability, and the success of ongoing efforts to end insecurity.
