South Africa Women’s U-19 produced a clinical display to overwhelm Ghana by 99 runs, combining disciplined batting with a ruthless bowling effort.
After electing to bat, South Africa recovered from early setbacks at 24 for 2, with Mieke Van Voorst anchoring the innings with a composed 50 off 34 balls.
She was well supported by Siphokuhle Masilela, who added 37, as the team posted a strong total of 168 for 4.

Batting first, Rwanda posted 143 for 5, led by Gisele Ishimwe, who scored a fluent 40 off 32 balls. Contributions across the lineup ensured a competitive total despite Zimbabwe sharing the wickets.
Zimbabwe’s chase faltered early as Rwanda’s bowlers struck decisively, reducing them to 32 for 5 within the powerplay.
