Arab League foreign ministers will meet via videoconference to address escalating Iranian attacks on member states and rising regional tensions.
The Arab League will convene an emergency meeting on Sunday to address Iran’s recent attacks on multiple member states, the bloc’s assistant secretary-general Hossam Zaki told AFP.
The virtual meeting was requested by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, and Egypt, reflecting growing regional concern over security and stability.

Since February 28, 2026, US and Israeli forces have conducted a massive air campaign against Iran, prompting Iranian retaliatory strikes targeting Israel and several Gulf nations.
Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit condemned the attacks as “fully reprehensible,” warning that they violate international law, the UN Charter, and the principles of good neighbourliness.”
