The US Department of Homeland Security says 19 additional Nigerians have been listed for deportation
No fewer than 19 additional Nigerians have been named on the United States government’s “worst of the worst” criminal list, with authorities confirming they are scheduled for deportation.
Checks on the website of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Sunday show that the latest update brings the total number of Nigerians listed for removal to 113.
According to DHS, the individuals were convicted of offences including sexual assault of a minor, fraud, assault, drug trafficking and money laundering, among other crimes.

A statement accompanying the list said the convicts were arrested by officials of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and would be deported upon completion of immigration procedures.
“The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is highlighting the worst of the worst criminal aliens arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,” the statement read.
“Under Secretary Kristi Noem’s leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling Donald Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations, starting with the worst of the worst ,including the illegal aliens you see here.”
Those newly added to the list include Adeolu Solabu, Oladayo Agboola, Chinonso Ochie, Oluchi Jennifer Chimdimma Chime, Samuel Omorodion, Sunday Adediora, Sunday Kunkushi and Mkpouto Etukudoh.
Others are Marcus Unigwe, Kehinde James, Blessing Uchanma, Victor Adebisi, Richard Ugbah, Olaniyi Ojikutu, Oluwamuyiwa Olawoye, Okechukwu Amadi, Femi Jolayemi, Anthony Asanya, Izuchukwu Okoye and Ebele Agbasiele.
The latest development underscores an intensified crackdown by U.S. authorities targeting criminal and undocumented migrants, as federal agencies ramp up enforcement and deportation operations nationwide.
