The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has unveiled the groupings for the 2026 NWFL Championship following the official draw held on 29 June 2026 at the league’s headquarters in Abuja.
The draw paired the 16 participating clubs into four groups of four ahead of the championship in Calabar, where only two teams will secure promotion to the NWFL Premiership.
Group A comprises Delta Babes, DreamStar Ladies FC, Rosaria Victrix FC and First Mahi Babes.
Group B features Pelican Stars, Gallant Queens, Ikukuoma Queens and Moje Queens.
Rangers Women FC, Fortress Ladies FC, Wazbak International Sports Academy and Unification FC make up Group C, while Group D consists of Imo Striker Queens, Kwara Ladies, Chosen Generation Angels FC and Ghetto Tigers.
With promotion to Nigeria’s top-flight women’s league on the line, the teams will battle for supremacy in Calabar as they seek to claim one of the two available NWFL Premiership places.
