Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, marked his 33rd birthday on Tuesday with a private celebration in Atlanta, United States, joined by close family members and key figures from his 30BG team.
The intimate gathering brought together notable members of the Adeleke family, including his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke; Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke; his sister, Sharon Adeleke; and cousins Nike and Folashade Adeleke. His wife, Chioma Rowland Adeleke, manager Asa, and longtime collaborator DJ ECool were also in attendance.

The celebration comes just hours before Davido headlines a sold-out concert at the 21,000-capacity State Farm Arena, part of his ongoing 5ive Alive Tour. The atmosphere was lively, with music, warm tributes, and heartfelt moments captured in videos shared online.
During the gathering, Davido reflected on his career growth and personal milestones, noting how far he has come since releasing his first single as a teenager.
“I dropped my first song when I was 17, and now I’m 33. This year is one of my best years ever; I got married to the most beautiful woman and we had our babies,” he said.
He credited the joy of the past year to his marriage to Chioma and the birth of their twins — moments he described as life-defining.
Davido also excited fans by confirming progress on his sixth studio album, just seven months after releasing his fifth project, 5ive, on April 18.
