Speaker Abbas Tajudeen urges Nigerians to pray for the nation and promote unity during Easter celebrations.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has called on Nigerian Christians to sustain prayers for the nation and embrace unity as they celebrate Easter.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media, Musa Krishi, the Speaker emphasizes the need for continued intercession for Nigeria and the administration of Bola Tinubu, noting that prayers have historically attracted divine intervention in resolving national challenges.
Abbas described Easter as a season that reflects sacrifice, selflessness, obedience, and love, virtues he said are critical for fostering peace and stability in the country.
He urges Christians to emulate the teachings of Jesus Christ, whom he described as a perfect role model, and to extend those values into nation-building efforts.
