Chef Dammy celebrates earning her Professional Culinary Art Chef diploma at HBS Lagos.
Nigerian chef and social media personality, Damilola Adeparusi, widely known as Chef Dammy, has officially graduated with a Professional Culinary Art Chef diploma from the Hospitality Business School (HBS) in Lagos.
The Ekiti-based chef completed the intensive training programme on a full scholarship funded by Horecabb Mentors, Ofadaboy, and the Ekiti State Government.
Chef Dammy’s certification marks a major advancement in her culinary journey, coming nearly two years after her widely publicised cook-a-thon attempt in June 2023, which first thrust her into the national spotlight.
In a celebratory post shared on Instagram, she expressed deep gratitude to her sponsors, supporters, and the Nigerian government for enabling her to pursue professional training.

She wrote:
“It’s safe to say Chef Dammy is officially a professional chef. Grateful to have graduated from the best hospitality school in Nigeria, first in Africa and among the top 10 in the world. Cheers to the grace of God and the favor of men that have brought me this far.
To everything we’ve achieved in 2025, and to the even greater things ahead. God bless HBS. God bless my sponsors. God bless my supporters. God bless Nigeria. And God bless me.”
Her graduation has been widely celebrated across social media, with many Nigerians commending her resilience and continued growth in the culinary industry.
