Dutch airline, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has cancelled all flights to Dubai until March 28, citing security concerns linked to the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
In a statement on Wednesday, the airline said the decision was taken because of ongoing unrest in the region.
“Due to ongoing unrest in the Middle East, KLM has decided to cancel all flights to Dubai up to and including March 28,” the company said, adding that “the safety of our passengers and crew is always our top priority.”

KLM said it is working with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist Dutch citizens stranded in the region and ensure they receive updated travel information.
Other European carriers have also suspended flights to several destinations. Lufthansa said it has extended the suspension of flights to parts of the Middle East, including United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Israel and Iran.
Meanwhile, Air France has also extended the suspension of services to and from Tel Aviv and Beirut, as airlines continue to adjust operations due to the regional security situation.
