Authorities in Los Angeles are investigating a gunfire incident that targeted the home of pop superstar Rihanna, after a woman allegedly opened fire on the property on Sunday while the singer was reportedly inside.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the shooting occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m. when a suspect fired about 10 rounds from a vehicle parked across the street from the singer’s residence in Beverly Hills.
Local broadcaster KTLA reported that at least one bullet struck and pierced a wall of the mansion, where Rihanna lives with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their children. Reports say the singer was inside the home when the gunfire occurred.

Police said the suspect, a woman believed to be in her 30s, fled the scene shortly after the shooting but was later arrested without incident. Officers also recovered a weapon during the arrest, KTLA reported.
Rihanna has not publicly commented on the incident.
Investigators say efforts are ongoing to determine the motive behind the attack.
