A fire incident has been reported at a section of the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation complex in Abuja.
Eyewitnesses said the fire was first noticed at about 8:20 a.m., when smoke began billowing from a part of the building.
The outbreak was reported in Section C of the Head of Service building within the complex, prompting staff members to quickly move away from the affected area as emergency responders were alerted.
The Media Department of the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation confirmed the incident, noting that the fire was confined to Section C of the building and that emergency officials were already working to contain the situation.
Authorities say the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
