Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has appointed former Big Brother Naija housemate Tega Dominic as Special Adviser(SA) on Sexual Harassment to the National President-Elect of the Guild.
The appointment was announced in an official letter shared by Tega on her Instagram page on Thursday, where she also formally accepted the role.
According to the appointment letter, the position is aimed at protecting AGN members, strengthening ethical standards, and promoting safe working environments across Nollywood.
AGN stated that the Office of the Special Adviser on Sexual Harassment is responsible for developing and implementing anti-harassment policies, advocating for ethical conduct, and establishing clear mechanisms for reporting, investigation, and resolution of sexual harassment cases within the Guild.

The Guild described the role as critical to professionalism in the Nigerian film industry, noting that Tega was selected based on her competence, experience, and sound judgment.
The appointment letter further stated that the role is subject to termination in cases of insubordination, misconduct, or actions contrary to the Constitution of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
Reacting to the announcement, Tega described the appointment as a call to service and expressed gratitude to the AGN leadership for the trust placed in her.
She pledged a firm commitment to promoting zero tolerance for sexual harassment, ensuring safe and confidential reporting systems, and providing protection and support for survivors.
Tega added that her goal is to help build an industry where professionalism, dignity, and respect remain non-negotiable, allowing creative talent to thrive without fear.
