The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has confirmed that call-up letters for the 2026 Batch A Stream 1 orientation exercise are now available, as it unveiled deployment arrangements for prospective corps members.
In a statement posted on its official X handle on Monday, the scheme said some corps members posted to Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory would attend orientation camps in neighbouring states due to capacity constraints.
It said those deployed to Lagos may be posted to camps in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun and Osun, while some assigned to the FCT will undergo orientation in Kaduna, Niger and Nasarawa.

The NYSC said the adjustment followed limitations in camp capacity, noting that “only about 40 per cent of registered Prospective Corps Members can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme.”
It also advised prospective corps members against travelling at night and urged them to complete all required documentation before arriving at camp.
The scheme warned that candidates with discrepancies in their records would not be registered, stressing that “Prospective Corps Members with discrepancies in the Date of Graduation on their call-up letters and the date on their Statement of Results will not be registered in the Orientation Camp.”
It advised affected individuals to resolve such issues with their Student Affairs Officers before reporting.
The NYSC also issued special guidelines for married female prospective corps members, directing those not posted to their husband’s state of residence to report to the nearest orientation camp for registration.
It added that those seeking concessional posting must upload documents including a marriage certificate, their husband’s identification and a letter confirming the place of domicile.
