SNG signs a new gas supply deal with SG Industrial FZE in Ogun State.
Shell Nigeria Gas Limited (SNG) has signed a new agreement to supply gas to SG Industrial FZE, a steel manufacturer located in the Guangdong Free Trade Zone in Ogun State.
The deal strengthens SNG’s presence in Nigeria’s manufacturing corridor and expands its customer base in the state. It also supports the Federal Government’s push to increase domestic gas utilisation as part of the Decade of Gas initiative.
SNG currently operates a 150km gas distribution network serving more than 150 industrial customers in Abia, Bayelsa, Ogun and Rivers states. The company says the expansion was achieved in partnership with NNPC Gas Marketing Limited.
SNG Managing Director Ralph Gbobo said the agreement reflects the company’s commitment to providing cleaner and more reliable energy for industries nationwide.
