The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed the arraignment of Samuel Ojeogwu, brother to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, before a court in Abuja on multiple criminal charges, including conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, and theft.
Police spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh announced the development in a statement on Friday, explaining that the case stemmed from a petition received by the FCT Metro Area Command on October 28, 2025, against Ojeogwu and three others.
“On 28th October 2025, the FCT Metro Area Command received a petition against one Mr. Samuel Ojeogwu and three others, alleging criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, theft, and cyber-bullying,” Adeh said.

According to the police, Ojeogwu ignored several invitations for questioning before being arrested in Lagos under a court-issued warrant and transferred to Abuja for investigation.
“Mr. Ojeogwu was arrested in Lagos on the authority of a duly issued arrest warrant from a competent court and subsequently conveyed to Abuja for further investigation,” Adeh added.
After concluding investigations, the suspect was charged before a competent court in Abuja on November 6, 2025. He has since been remanded pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions.
“He has been remanded by the court pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions,” Adeh confirmed.
The police reaffirmed their commitment to due process and professional conduct, emphasizing adherence to the rule of law.
“The FCT Police Command remains committed to professional policing, due process, and the rule of law,” Adeh stated.
