Mercy Eke, Former Big Brother Naija star has publicly celebrated her fellow reality TV Tacha Akide, following her remarkable Guinness World Record attempt for the most cosmetic makeovers by an individual in 24 hours.
Akide achieved an impressive 145 makeovers during the inaugural Beauty Festival held from October 10 to 12 at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, Lagos.
A three-day event that highlighted Nigeria’s booming beauty industry and creative excellence.
The festival drew several top celebrities and influencers, including Toke Makinwa and Ice Prince, underscoring its significance in promoting beauty entrepreneurship and empowerment.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mercy Eke praised Akide’s record-breaking feat and hinted at a major announcement to come, writing:
“I can’t wait for the big announcement, my baby, you deserve it! @Symply_Tacha. I owe you one.”
Her congratulatory post surprised fans, marking a public show of support between the two, once fierce rivals during the 2019 ‘Pepper Dem’ season of Big Brother Naija.
