Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has showered praises on his mother, Mrs. Rose Idibia, as she marks her 70th birthday, calling her “simply amazing.”
The tribute comes just weeks after 2Baba himself turned 50 in September a milestone he promised to mark with a major celebration of his career and legacy.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the Afrobeats legend expressed gratitude to God for her life and unwavering support throughout his journey.
Words cannot capture what I feel and wish for you, my beautiful mother. Today is your special day. I thank the Almighty God for the blessing of you. You are simply amazing. I love you yesterday, today, and forever. Mom. Happy 70th,” 2Baba wrote.
The African Queen crooner also announced plans for a grand celebration in Abuja, inviting fans to join in honoring his mother’s milestone. He added hashtags such as #MOM@70, #MAMA2BABA@70, #MAMALEGEND@70, #ABUJASTANDUP.
