Media personality Priscilla Ojo and her newborn son, Rakeem Mkambala, received a lavish welcome in Tanzania from her husband, Juma Jux, following the birth of their first child.
Juma Jux surprised his wife and son at the airport with fresh flowers and gifts, setting the stage for an elaborate homecoming celebration.
The event featured a blue-themed décor with balloons, framed family photos, and a bold banner that read: “Welcome Home Mommy and Rakeem.” A large standee bearing Rakeem’s name added to the festive atmosphere.
The couple welcomed a baby boy, named Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada. The development was confirmed on Sunday, August 24, 2025, through a post by Iyabo Ojo on her social media platforms, where she expressed gratitude for the safe delivery of both mother and child.
Joining in the excitement, Priscilla’s mother, Iyabo Ojo, lightheartedly teased her son-in-law about the grandeur of the preparations.
“Juma, you are so extra. What happened? Rakeem is actually one month old,” she joked.
The joyous gathering came after a challenging period when Juma Jux was denied a Canadian visa, preventing him from being present at Rakeem’s birth in Canada. With their baby now holding a Canadian passport, the family finally reunited to celebrate the milestone together.
