Rudeboy, Paul Okoye, has vowed to take legal action against a social media user over viral defamatory allegations, stressing he will make her a “scapegoat.”
Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has announced plans to take legal action against a social media user who accused him of infidelity and sexual misconduct.
The allegations, made on X (formerly Twitter), claimed Rudeboy cheated on his ex-wife Anita Okoye with their domestic staff and further accused him of coercion.

The singer, visibly angered by the claims, vowed to hold the user accountable, describing the allegations as damaging and unfounded.
“I hardly reply!!! But you see this one!!! @chubbiedivah, if you like, go private, leave X!! I will find you; I will use every necessary means, power, resource, and money. You will face the law; I will use you as an example (scapegoat),” Rudeboy wrote.
He added that the user’s only escape would be to “leave the surface of this Earth and relocate to space.”
Expressing gratitude to fans who alerted him to the defamatory post, Rudeboy emphasized that he intends to pursue the matter to deter others from spreading falsehoods online.
“To everyone who brought my attention to her tweet. Thank you,” he added.
The announcement has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many fans and public commentators backing Rudeboy’s move, stressing the need for accountability in cases of online defamation.
