PDP to inaugurate its 110-member 2025 National Convention Organising Committee on September 2, chaired by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that it will inaugurate its 2025 National Convention Organising Committee (Main Committee) on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
The announcement was contained in a statement released on Thursday, by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, following approval from the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).
According to the statement, the inauguration will hold at the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, at 12 noon.
The 110-member committee will be chaired by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, with Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, serving as Vice Chairman, and Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, as Secretary.
“The NWC charges all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of the PDP to remain united, focused and continue to work together towards the success of the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Saturday, 15th to Sunday, 16th November, 2025,” the statement added.
The party’s inauguration of the Organising Committee underscores its commitment to a smooth and transparent convention process ahead of its 2025 elective convention.
