Toke Makinwa celebrates motherhood as she welcomes her daughter, Yakira Eliana.
Media personality Toke Makinwa has announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl.
The 40-year-old shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, describing the moment as the happiest of her life.
“I’m a mommy. This is the happiest I’ve ever been. My precious daughter, the love I never knew existed, my heart in another human being,” she wrote.
Makinwa revealed that her daughter has been named Yakira Eliana Olakitan Iyanuoluwa Ikeoluwa Adunola, calling her a testimony of God’s goodness.
“Every single detail, down to your fingers and toes, oh he heard my prayers. Meet my miracle, Yakira Eliana Precious, Beloved, of great worth, my God has answered,” she added.
Earlier this month, the television and radio host revealed her pregnancy in an Instagram post where she unveiled her baby bump.
Makinwa, who had previously spoken about exploring surrogacy, described the birth as the most significant chapter of her life.
