Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has become a grandmother following the arrival of her daughter Priscilla Ojo’s first child with Tanzanian musician Juma Jux.
The couple welcomed a baby boy, named Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada. The development was confirmed on Sunday, August 24, 2025, through a post by Iyabo Ojo on her social media platforms, where she expressed gratitude for the safe delivery of both mother and child.
Priscilla, a Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur, and Juma Jux, a celebrated East African singer, tied the knot earlier this year in a series of ceremonies between February and May 2025. They first announced the pregnancy in July, and only last week, the couple hosted a blue-themed gender reveal party, confirming they were expecting a boy.
News of the baby’s arrival has attracted widespread congratulations from fans, colleagues, and celebrities across Nigeria and Tanzania.
Both mother and child are reported to be in good health, while the families are said to be in high spirits as they celebrate the new addition.
