Dangote Refinery to supply fuel directly to major Nigerian companies.
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced plans to commence direct distribution of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and diesel to major consumers across Nigeria starting August 15, 2025.
The initiative targets large-scale users such as manufacturers, airlines, telecom operators, and petrol marketers, aiming to streamline fuel supply and improve nationwide distribution efficiency.
As part of the program, the refinery is introducing a fleet of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered tankers to support eco-friendly and cost-effective logistics. Dangote will also establish distribution hubs and “daughter booster stations” to ensure seamless reach, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
To encourage bulk purchases, the refinery is offering a credit facility: any purchaser of at least 500,000 liters can buy an additional 500,000 liters on credit for two weeks, provided they present a valid bank guarantee.

Registration for the program is open from June 16 to August 15, and all participants must undergo KYC verification.
Industry experts describe the move as a game changer for Nigeria’s downstream oil sector, with the potential to reduce distribution costs by 10–30%, especially in rural communities.
