A coalition of technology and creative hubs in Nigeria has unveiled a new platform, MSwitch Group, aimed at building a unified ecosystem to fuel innovation and strengthen the continent’s digital and creative economies.
In a statement, the coalition says the initiative is designed to bridge the gap between inspiration and execution, providing safe spaces and sustainable solutions for Africa’s emerging tech and creative industries.
The group which comprises MSwitch Media, Tech specialist, Tiidelab, and MSwitch Creative Hub, aims to unlock the untapped potential in Nigeria’s tech and creative sectors while boosting their contribution to the country’s Gross Domestic Product.
The coalition noted that MSwitch Group will tackle long-standing challenges such as low business visibility, limited access to media platforms, inadequate IT support, and lack of expert guidance.
According to the statement, the group is particularly focused on helping Nigerian talents and enterprises tell their stories more effectively, using strategic media, storytelling, and content production as key tools for visibility and growth.
To steer its mission, the coalition has inaugurated a board composed of experts in media, technology, and entrepreneurship to guide its strategic direction and respond to the dynamic needs of Africa’s creative-tech landscape.
