
Hollywood actor Val Kilmer, best known for his roles in Top Gun, Batman Forever, and The Doors, has passed away at the age of 65.
The New York Times reports that Kilmer died from pneumonia, according to his daughter, Mercedes Kilmer. The actor had previously battled throat cancer following a 2014 diagnosis but later recovered.
Kilmer rose to fame as the charismatic “Iceman” in Top Gun, later portraying Jim Morrison in The Doors and donning the cape as Batman in Batman Forever.
