The Local Government Economic Summit Group has commended Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, for appointing former ALGON National President, Aminu Mu’azu Maifata, as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
In a statement, the Group’s Secretary, Tijani Mohammed, describes the appointment as a strategic move, citing Maifata’s extensive experience as a two-term Chairman of Lafia Local Government.
He expressed confidence that Maifata’s leadership would drive grassroots development across the state.
The Group while congratulating Maifata, urged him to uphold the trust placed in him.
